Review: Fally Ipupa’s Second Remix of ‘Sweet Life’ features Tuface Idibia and Naeto C

You’d probably wonder why I’m reviewing Fally Ipupa’s song. He’s Congolese, yeah I know. But then the song features two terrific Nigerian musicians: Tuface, whose personal songs or guest appearances I love to evaluate, and Naeto C who hasn’t been doing much lately. In addition, the original of this track is said to be a classic and had been remixed a couple of times before. This addition is therefore one to check out.

‘Sweet Life’ remix simply tells us that people only choose to see the sweet life of successful people they see on TV and magazines. Rather, they forget that such life is guaranteed by continual hard work. I guess Tuface’s verse basically translates Ipupa’s message to what we can understand. Naeto C’s part only reiterates the message. This is good music at its best. You’re going to love how Tuface typically killed the beat. Naeto’s rap is basic as usual but gets across and that’s more important. You’re also gon’ love Ipupa’s delivery which I think floors those of our Naija brothers. By and Large, ‘Sweet Life’ comes highly recommended.
