Music Review: Cynthia Morgan ‘Baby Mama’

I’m not really a fan of Cynthia morgan but one must give honour to whom honour is due. For instance, her ‘Simati Niya’ released early this year shows the stuff she’s made of, particularly her versatility in dancehall/Reggae.

‘Baby Mama’ has a positive message, though couched in some lewd images. One thing you can’t take away from Morgan is her sincerity and courage to spit whatever she likes. She does a lot of painting of raw imageries in the song but let’s face it, the fact that her lyrics could aptly stamp pictures in the mind is commendable.

The song was masterfully produced by Chopstix, one dude who doesn’t get enough praise for his craft. ‘Baby Mama’ is a sure banker for dancehall lovers.
