Music Review: Frankcee in ‘Marry Me’

Frankcee, a relatively new guy in the scene, just got signed to a UK-Based record label and offers music lovers his first major single, ‘Marry Me’. I must say I’m impressed with this guy’s effort on the track. Although ‘Marry Me’ appears to be an over flogged idea, Frankcee and DJ Coublon managed to put together a song that’s so melodic you’d forget the subject matter.

The song is well-written and sensibly arranged: No unnecessary hook. No undue cliché. No nonsenses per se.
I particularly like his idea of correlating the song’s female persona’s beauty to that of Africa in the second verse. It brings to mind some of imageries in Tu Baba’s ‘African Queen’. The concluding hook is also a beauty to relish. I strongly believe that this song, with aggressive promotion of course, should sell especially with  DJ Coublon’s Midas Touch on the production.
